'Double hundred' reading activity launched in Ningxia

The launching ceremony of the "double hundred" reading activity, a hundred theme-based reading exchanges for workers and recommendation of a hundred reading talents, was held in Yinchuan city, capital of the Ningxia Hui autonomous region on April 23, World Book Day.

There was a lively poetry recitation on the spot, and some cultural celebrities in Ningxia shared their reading experience and fun via online video. Zhang Xuedong, a well-known writer and vice chairman of the Ningxia Writers Association, and Hao Xiangfeng, a national model worker and chairman of Ningxia Berylgoji Co Ltd, shared the beauty of their reading experiences at the event.

Wang Senlin, a second-level inspector of the Ningxia Federation of Trade Unions, said that the trade unions planned to organize eight demonstration reading exchange activities to encourage trade unions at all levels to carry out no fewer than 100 reading exchange activities.

The reading activity will take advantage of the online reading platform of the Ningxia Library and select 100 reading talents.

The ceremony fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the attendees, making the reading activities effective and sending them viral.

The ceremony was hosted by the Ningxia Trade Union and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Ningxia, and co-organized by the Ningxia Library, the Yinchuan Trade Union, and Ningxia Yellow River Publishing & Media Group Ltd.
