Since early this year, Jinfeng District of Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has strengthened its contact with local firms and provided them with better government services in a move to promote the resumption of work and production as early as possible and lay a solid foundation for the district's economic performance in the first quarter of this year.
According to the local government, the district is scheduled to carry out 101 specific projects worth a total of 21.1 billion yuan this year, with the aim of further consolidating the foundation for its overall economic growth.
For instance, the township of Liangtian in Jinfeng is building a digital agri-tourism town, which mainly consists of a digital demonstration industrial area for the planting of strawberries, a special street featuring dining and agritainment, a service center for digital governance of rural areas, reconstruction of irrigation ditches from the overpass of Yinxing Road to Sangyuan, and rural landscaping.
The digital agri-tourism town will also feature a service center for grassroots Party-building affairs, tourism transit and promotion center, rural TCM clinic, public service center, standardized labor center, and promotional center for agricultural technologies. There will be an initiative to improve the environment there.
Meanwhile, the Jianfa Yoyo City project has entered a critical stage in its construction and is scheduled to open in the next year.
The local government said about 20 projects will resume by the end of February and the district will complete cumulative investment of 700 million yuan in unified indicators in the first two months of this year.
