Yuehaiwan project selected in Ningxia talent cultivation program

The Yuehaiwan talent cultivation project for the internet and digital economy was selected as a characteristic talent program supported by the Ningxia Hui autonomous region and received a fund of 200,000 yuan ($31,399), said the Yuehaiwan Central Business District Management Committee on Feb 20, 2022. 

The project consists of the Yuehaiwan digital economy talent support project and three sub-projects, including two projects of the Ningxia Gudao Cross-border Incubation Platform and the Wanjie Academy's digital economy talent cultivation project. 

The Yuehaiwan talent support project helps CBD enterprises introduce talents in digital management and technology, provides subsidies for high-level talents to settle in, and organizes conferences for enterprises focusing on areas like Internet Plus, cross-border e-commerce, software information, etc. The project also promotes the construction of the Human Capital Service Industrial Park.

The projects of the Gudao Cross-border Incubation Platform source talents from universities. Through their foreign trade talent training base and the "Cross-border E-commerce Genius Workshops", they have sent outstanding technicians to carry on professional training and cultivate technical talents at full-time positions. They provide training on foreign trade, e-commerce trading modes (B2C, B2B, C2C, etc.) and livestreaming.

The Wanjie Academy's project has launched 20 digital technology promotion activities with Ningxia University, North Minzu University and many other colleges, giving 150 lectures on digital technology and periodic talent training.

The Wanjie Academy has created a comprehensive digital talent training system, online to offline, teaching students the basic knowledge of Java to big data and Internet of Things.  

In recent years, the Yuehaiwan talent cultivation project for digital economy has given full play to the advantages of Yuehaiwan CBD for being the information service cluster. The project actively introduces key enterprises in the areas such as 5G, big data, AI, and cloud computing, accelerating the agglomeration of digital economy industries.

"We will establish a digital economy talent cultivation base and training platform, and carry out activities like technical exchanges, talent training, event promotion, and technology demonstrations. We will continue to cultivate all kinds of technical talents that the digital economy industry needs in Ningxia, promoting high-quality development of the digital economy in the industrial park and in Ningxia", said an officer in charge of the Yuehaiwan CBD.
