The "characteristic popular food block" is newly built in the village, and the vintage streets and farmyards in the Folk Custom Street are quite eye-catching. Colorful wall paintings in different themes attract passers-by to snap photos. Specialty shops, such as the oil workshop, the vinegar workshop and the handmade glass noodle workshop, will soon rise, offering tourists a richer rural experience.

Ma Xiaoning, a Zhiwuyuan villager, moved here from Xiji county of Guyuan city in 2017. He has been running a restaurant featuring spicy chicken with chili sauce. When he first opened his restaurant, the business was pretty bad due to the poor surrounding environment.

Since this year, Liangtian town has started to upgrade and renovate the village. The village area and surrounding resources have been integrated to build the "characteristic popular food block". The environment and roads have greatly improved.

Liangtian town has focused on promoting residents to increase their income this year. It has built four main projects including the "digital village comprehensive management service center" and seven beneficial projects for residents like the "standardized labor station".

Combining Zhiwuyuan village's advantageous location, the "digital agricultural tourism town" will provide an integrated service of sightseeing, fruit picking, catering, entertainment and accommodation, boosting farmers' income as well as agricultural development.

"The construction of the tourism town can encourage residents to develop industries in the hometown and enjoy the 'bonus' brought by urban-rural integration. The labor station can eliminate the information gap between laborers and enterprises, further improving the organization and stability of laborers in the jurisdiction", said Zhang Qingxuan, head of Liangtian town.

Meanwhile, the rural governance data platform has been built for refined social governance and more accurate social services, Zhang added.
